Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding vehicle that can secure sufficient support stiffness of a reclinable backrest portion and secure desired design quality.SOLUTION: A seat comprises a seating portion 65 and a backrest portion 66 that is turned into an upward standing state behind the seating portion 65. The backrest portion 66 is configured to be reclined backward so as to turn into a passenger seat on which a fellow passenger is seated when the backrest portion 66 is maximally reclined backward. Behind the seating portion 65 is arranged a rear cowl 46 extending in a longitudinal direction. Below the rear cowl 46 is positioned a cross frame for the seat that connects left and right seat frames. In the cross frame for the seat is provided a receiving portion 67 protruding upward, and in the rear cowl 46 is formed an opening for facing the receiving portion 67 upward, so that when the backrest portion 66 is maximally reclined backward, the opening contacts the receiving portion 67.
