PURPOSE: To improve safety characteristics when the supply of secondary air for a combustion device is stopped.
CONSTITUTION: A safety device of a combustion machine is comprised of a combustion part 8, a secondary air passage 12 for supplying secondary air to a flame at the combustion part 8 and a blower 4 for supplying air to the secondary air passage 12. A temperature sensor 15 is arranged near a connection part in a place of the secondary air passage and a temperature variation in the case where the secondary ari is not supplied is detected by it. A control part 16 is provided for stopping combustion at the combustion part 8 according to the output from the temperature sensor 1.5. Accordingly, even in the case where a disconnection of the secondary air passage 12 occurs not to supply any secondary air, it is possible to prevent any abnormal state of occurrence of CO or the like and the safety of the combustion device can be improved.
