To solve such problems with general laser depilation devices that the irradiation with a laser begins when a user steps on a food pedal switch and pushes a shooting switch as a safety countermeasure considered to prevent the accidental irradiation with the laser beam, i.e., the shooting with the laser beam is executed when two switches are on, but this countermeasure cannot be said to be safe and the possibility of accidental shooting of the laser beam to a point exclusive of the therapeutic point for depilation, for example, the eyes cannot be said to be none.
The system is so constituted that the user is forced to step on the foot pedal switch to bring an irradiation port into contact with the therapeutic point for depilation and to push the laser beam shooting switch in order to shoot the laser beam. Namely, the laser beam cannot be emitted unless the three switches; the foot pedal switch, the contact switch and the laser beam shooting switch are simultaneously turned on, by which the accidental irradiation may be prevented.
