Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent breakage of a tooth in the case of cutting a workpiece, the cutting length of which is decreased just before the end of cutting at the time of cutting a round bar by providing a following tooth of a medium tooth height between a following tooth of a small tooth height and a preceding tooth of a large tooth height.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of cutting a workpiece W by a saw blade 1, a preceding tooth of the maximum tooth height 3h first bites the workpiece W, subsequently first following teeth 7R, 9L of second tooth heights 7H, 9B bite the same, and further second following teeth 5L, 11R of small tooth heights bite the workpiece W. That is, the teeth sequentially bite the work piece in the order of decreasing height. As the first following teeth 7R, 9L are respectively a right set tooth and a left set tooth, they are always guided rectilinearly by a preceding cut groove cut by the tip part 3P of a preceding tooth 3, so that the lateral vibration caused by the first following teeth 7R, 9L can be restrained.
