To minimize a part wherein a cutter part of a cutter link is annealed.

A cutter link 5 is provided at a specific space to a drive link 2 of a saw chain body 1. This cutter part 9 is composed integrally of a cutter barrel part 9a and a cutter crest part 9b projected right sideward from a tip of the cutter barrel part 9a. A carbide chip 10 is secured by brazing onto an upper face of the cutter crest part 9b. Since nitrogen gas is blown out from respective branch parts 23a, 23b of a blow out pipe 23 when the carbide chip 10 is brazed to the cutter crest part 9b, the cutter barrel 9a is also forcedly cooled. Therefore, hardness of the cutter link 5 excepting the cutter crest part 9b is kept as it is in quenching without being influenced from heat by brazing.
