Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate noises and damages caused by a jam at the time of feed winding of a master by cutting the end of the master after completing the process winding, retaining the cut end by an engaging means provided in a rotating system of a plate cylinder and then printing, and discharging the master by a plate discharge means provided outside the rotating system of the plate cylinder after completing the printing.
SOLUTION: A master A is set outside a rotating system of a plate cylinder 4, and drawn out by a plate feed roller 6 provided in the rotating system of the plate cylinder 4 and wound on the plate cylinder 4, and following the winding, a thermal head 9 provided outside the rotating system of the plate cylinder 4 is brought into contact with a platten section 8 provided in the rotating system of the plate cylinder 4 for processing. When the process winding is completed, the end of the master 4 is cut, and a cut end section is retained by an engaging roll 10 provided in the rotating system of the plate cylinder 4, and after completing the printing, the master 5 is discharged by a release means 15 provided outside the rotating system of the plate cylinder 4. Noises and damages caused by a jam or the like at the time of feed winding of the master A can be eliminated by the arrangement.
