To manufacture inexpensively and easily a seal type thermal transfer image receiving sheet having translucency, glossiness and other desired feelings and high designing and decorative effects.
The seal type thermal transfer image receiving sheet is constituted at least of a seal part having a receiving layer, a colored layer, a base layer and an adhesive layer laminated in this sequence and of a release sheet. The releasing side of the release sheet and the adhesive layer of the seal part are stuck together releasably, while the base layer is a laminated body of two kinds or more sheets including a transparent sheet, and the colored layer is made to contain a metal constituent or a material having fluorescence. The seal type thermal transfer image receiving sheet having translucency, glossiness and other desired feelings and having high designing and decorative effects is obtained in this way. This sheet can be manufactured inexpensively and easily with no need to process it by a specific method such as vacuum deposition or sputtering.
