Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery which prevents discoloration of a resin member on a lid when a mating surface between a lid and a case body is laser welded and achieves excellent appearance quality.SOLUTION: A sealed battery 10, where a mating surface 25 of a case body 21 and a lid 22 is located on the outer surface 22A side of the lid 22 and the mating surface 25 is laser welded, is provided. A terminal 40 connected with an electrode body of the battery 10 is led out from a through hole of the lid 22 to the exterior and is separated from a lid outer surface 22A by an outer resin member 60. A shielding part 26 shields the mating surface (welded part) 25 from the outer resin member 60. The height of an upper end of the shielding part 26 is equal to or higher than a straight line connecting the welded part 25 with the upper end of the outer resin member 60.
