Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a seismic isolation method for a multi-tier rack for use in a stockroom and a factory, the multi-tier rack comprising a seismic isolation function, and a non-slip adhesive rubber for the multi-tier rack.SOLUTION: A multi-tier rack comprises a pair of both side beam members which are elongated in a depth direction in a lower part of the multi-tier rack, which are brought into contact with a floor surface and which have a front cross-section of a foot part formed in an inverted V-shape or an inverted U-shape. In a seismic isolation method and a seismic isolation function for the multi-tier rack, a non-slip adhesive rubber is interposed between a floor and the inside of the inverted V-shape or inverted U-shape of both the side beam members.
