Abstract:
To provide a self-aligning roller bearing capable of preventing leakage of grease from an inner peripheral portion of an outer ring while suppressing abrasion of a lip of a seal.SOLUTION: Double row spherical rollers 4 are respectively assembled between a spherical raceway 5 of an outer ring 2 and each of double raw raceways 10, 10 of an inner ring 3, the spherical roller 4 of each raw is retained by two retainers 13, 13, a first seal 6 is retained by axial both end portions of an inner peripheral portion of the outer ring 2, and a lip portion 20 of the first seal 6 is kept into slide-contact with an outer peripheral portion of an outer annular portion 15 of the retainer 13. A second seal 7 is retained by an axial outer end portion of an outer annular portion 15 of the retainers 13, and a lip portion 23 of the second seal 7 is kept into slide-contact with an axial outer end portion of a flange 11 of an outer peripheral portion of the inner ring 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
