Abstract:
To enhance heating efficiency per a unit area, as to a flat heater provided with self temperature control characteristics and used for a heating element of a snow melter, a warmer, and the like, and to compactly form the whole of the heater.
This self temperature control type flat heater 1 is composed of a sheet heating element 2 of a conductive synthetic resin formed from a mixture of a synthetic resin having high conductivity and heat resistance and carbon powder and a pair of sheet electrodes 3 fixed to the both sides of the heating element 2 face to face. A silicon resin is used for the synthetic resin forming the heating element 2, and a stainless steel net is used for the electrodes 3.
