PURPOSE: To provide a titled robot which welds exactly automatically objects to be welded without being hindered by a dropped-out weld-line part by quiding a gate type carriage striding over the objects to be welded by means of profiling rollers, selecting the operation of a torch and guiding the torch when the dropped out line part and profiling of the torch are detected and providing separately a trailing wire box.
CONSTITUTION: A gate type carriage 300 striding over an outside plate 102 and a lounge material 100 is supported by wheels 303 and is guided by profiling rollers 304. A notched part 101 of the material 100 is detected by a notch detector 305 provided to a roller arm and when a burner 307 comes to that position, welding is interrupted. A profiling detector 306 having a forked contactor 306a guides the burner 307 to the weld zone. Welding upon arrival of the burner 307 is ended by switches 308, 309 which detect the terminal of the outside plate and the lounge. A wire box having a weight is moved to follow up the carriage by traveling pulses, by which the gate type carriage for welding is reduced in wt. and size and the follow-up of welding is made quick and exact.
