Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device having a reconfigurable function in which a variable logic section realizing a function is implemented with a small area on an LSI, both a selector function and a memory function are provided, and the logic can be reconfigured at a high speed.
SOLUTION: The semiconductor device is arranged such that a plurality of basic units configuring a function, i.e., function cells, are provided, each function cell is provided with a plurality of threshold elements and means for holding a threshold value, and a logic being realized by the function cells is varied by varying the threshold value. Furthermore, the semiconductor device has a nonvolatile memory for storing data configuring the function.
