Abstract:

To expand dynamic range for a semiconductor device having an image sensor function.

The semiconductor device having an amplification transistor and a photoelectric conversion element electrically connected to a gate of the amplification transistor, is designed to output n (n is an integer greater than or equal to 2) of signals from the amplification transistor to a signal output line during one frame period. Since a plurality of signals may be read from a pixel during one frame period, the dynamic range is expanded.
