PURPOSE: To shorten a distance from a memory control part to a most distant part of a memory part and to reduce a wiring resistance and a capacity by a method wherein, when a memory is installed in a semiconductor device, the memory containing a plurality of divided address decoders is formed.
CONSTITUTION: When an address decoder 2 is divided into two regions 13, 14, a distance from a control part 11 to most distant memory parts 12 can be halved. When it is divided into an integral number of n (where n∞2), the distance can be halved. By this constitution, a wiring resistance and a capacity from the memory part 12 to the control part 11 can be halved; in addition, a decoder of each bit of a memory can be divided into a 1/2 piece; a signal transfer time from the memory part 12 to the control part 11 can be shortened.
