To realize a separable connector which can be separated with a as small a force as possible, when one connector member is to be separated from the other connector member.
A separable connector is composed of a female side connector member 12 and a male side connector member 11, and on the female member 12 a plurality of pin contacts 1a protrude from one surface of a female side connector shell 3, and an anisotropic conductive elastic body 4 is adhered to the overall forefront part of a plurality of pin contacts 1a. On the male side connector member 11, a plurality of pin contacts 1b protrude from one surface of a male side connector shell 2. The elastic body 4 is pinched by the pin contacts 1a and 1b and put in pressure contacting, and connections of the female member 12 with the male member 11 are held by a lock mechanism 5. The two members 12, 11 can be separated easily merely by disengaging the lock mechanism 5.
