Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape measurement machine and a shape measurement method, capable of accurately measuring a shape of a workpiece even the workpiece is easily deformed due to external force.SOLUTION: When a roller 54 is rotated for rotating a workpiece W, in a circularity measurement machine in which a shape measurement machine is applied, support points a, b, c move to a circumferential direction of the workpiece W from contact positions with three rollers 54, 56, 58, so that friction force between the three rollers 54, 56, 58 is released, and a deformation position of the workpiece W due to friction force between the three rollers 54, 56, 58 and a lower face of the workpiece W is separated from the contact positions with the three rollers 54, 56, 58. Therefore, the friction force on the deformation part of the workpiece W is released, and the workpiece W restores elastically to an original shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
