Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a part formed on a sheet-like cutting medium from falling off in cutting operation, and prevent the apex of a part corner from being chipped off when the part is removed.
CONSTITUTION: A cutter pen 1 having directionality on a sheet-like cutting medium 4 is relatively moved and controlled in the XY direction, and a cut locus is formed on the cutting medium 4 along line segment data transferred from a host computer 7. In this cut locus, up-down operation of the cutter pen 1 is controlled so that a microscopic length notch part (x) coming into contact with the apex on both sides or one side and a minute length space (the cutting remainder) (u) having a minute interval to the apex are formed in the cut locus of the cutting medium 4 with the apex of a corner part as a reference when a changing angle (α) of the corner part where the line segment data changes the direction in a V shape exceeds a prescribed angle to the advancing direction of the cutter pen 1.
