Abstract:
To provide a sheet handling device allowing a stapler (binding means) to be removed and replaced by a stapler having high binding performance, namely a stapler having large binding performance.
The sheet handling device for binding sheet bundles comprises a device body, the binding means for binding the sheet bundles, a holding means that holds the binding means inside and can be attached to or detached from the device body, and a detecting means for detecting the binding performance of the binding means in a mounted state of the holding means to the device body. The holding means can mount binding means having different binding performance.
