Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a sheet for ink jet recording, which is high in the quality of image and stabilized in transferring, by a method wherein the supporting body of the sheet for ink jet recording is formed of a resin coated paper and the ink receiving layer of the same sheet is formed of a material containing gelatin and a compound shown by a specified formula.
CONSTITUTION: In a sheet for ink jet recording, which is provided with an ink receiving layer on one side of a supporting body, a film or a resin coated paper is employed for the supporting body while the ink receiving layer is formed of a material containing gelatin and compound shown by a formula I. In the formula I, X2, X3, Y1, Y2 show hydroxide group, halogen atom, alkyl group, allyl. group, and in the formula II, R21, R22 show hydrogen atom, alkyl group, aryl group, R23, R24, are alkylene group, R25, shows hydrogen atom, alkyl group and aryl group, M is hydrogen atom alkaline metallic atom. The rate of containing of the compound shown by the formula I in the ink receiving layer is set within the range of 1-10% in weight ratio.
