A paper is conveyed by changing gripping from a gripping claw device 4 of an impression cylinder 2 to a gripping claw device 11 of a delivery cylinder 8. A roller 22 energized on a peripheral surface of the impression cylinder 2 is provided between a counter contact point A of a rubber cylinder 1 and the impression cylinder 2, and a counter contact point B of the impression cylinder 2 and the delivery cylinder 8. A cam follower 27 and a cam 28 are provided by which the roller 22 is separated from the impression cylinder 2 when the roller 22 is opposed to the gripping claw device 4 of the impression cylinder 2.
