PURPOSE: To provide a light weight and easy handling and to widely use by a skilled player to a female or young player by providing a holding layer made of a platelike repulsive fiber assembly and a platelike shielding plate provided in contact with the surface of the layer.

CONSTITUTION: A surface layer 1 is formed in a sheetlike state, and made of a sheet having a thickness of about 0.1 to 2mm, such as canvas, felt, rubber sheet or resin 'tatami'. A holding layer 2 is formed by intertwining synthetic fibers in a stereoscopic curl state and coupling the content points with each other to form continuous spaces in a fiber assembly having repulsive and bulky properties used with a thickness of 50 to 150mm. The layer 1 is formed in contact with the layer 2. A shielding plate 3 is brought into contact with the other surface of the layer 2, and the plate 3 is formed of cotton or the like such as cotton, synthetic resin, felt, or nonwoven fabric and has a thickness of 10 to 50mm. Accordingly, an arrow scarcely bounces and the arrow receiving plate is light and easily carried.
