To facilitate picking-up of hair, dust, and coarse waste by the bottom whole body of a sheet type mop by providing recesses/projections in the bottom part for wrapping the sheet of the head part.

Recesses 3 and projections 4 are formed on the bottom part for wrapping a sheet 6 of a head part. The recesses/projections 3, 4 are cylindrical and arranged equally, however, as for the shapes of the recesses/projection 3, 4, any other shapes are adopted, if only having the same operation. In a mop having such a sheet 6, the sheet 6 and the recesses 3 or the edges are not closely sealed together and have spaces formed between them so that the sheet 6 is provided with an elastic force and can effectively absorb coarse waste, hair, etc. The wiping operation by the projections 4 can provide the cleaning work with high efficiency.
