Abstract:

To manufacture shoes more simply through the use of an instep material of a three-layer structure.

An elastic foam 11 is sandwiched between a surface material 9 and back material 10 made of pliable leather to form an instep material 1 of a three-layer structure. The instep material 1 cut into a pattern is sewn to an instep material 2 of the shape of a foot sole in such a way that sewn sections 8 are protruded outward to form a bag body. A shaping die is inserted into the bag body to shape the instep material 1, with the sewn sections protruded downward, an insole plate is fitted in the back surface of the insole material 2 surrounded by the sewn sections 8 to constitute an instep material part 6. The sole part 7 is integrally joined to the instep material part 6 to manufacture shoes.
