CONSTITUTION: This device is a video camera provided with VTR equipped with image pickup optical systems 101-105 image pickup element 106, and white balance circuit 129 or the like, and the plural still pictures are recorded in a magnetic tape 140 by changing the plural white balance values in respect to one time of release in the case of still picture recording. Namely, the current white balance value decided by a hue control (automatic white balance) function for moving image shooting and the plural white balance values quantatively changing a primary color signal mixing rate are set, and the plural still pictures are obtained by executing shooting in respect to each white balance.
