Abstract:
To provide an imaging support device and an imaging support method capable of guiding an object person existing around a vehicle to a position suitable for imaging with cameras mounted in the vehicle.SOLUTION: An imaging support device 5 comprises: illumination units 50 and 60 which are mounted in a vehicle 1 and light toward the outside of the vehicle 1; an object person recognition unit 21 which recognizes an object person existing around the vehicle 1; a separation degree recognition unit 22 which recognizes a separation degree of the object person with respect to a predetermined position set within the imaging ranges of cameras 41b and 42b; and an illumination control unit 23 which controls the lighting modes of the illumination units 50 and 60 on the basis of the separation degree.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
