To perfectly grasp the condition in rear of a mirror so as to prevent the generation of accident for safety traveling by forming an opening part at a position in a front fender, and vertically moving or standing a side mirror inside of the opening with a driving mechanism.
This is an automatic device, and a remote controller or a computer is provided in an automobile, and an opening part is provided in a front fender at a part a little close to a front end thereof, and a side mirror is provided so as to be vertically moved or stood, and a cover is fitted to a periphery of the opening part so as to automatically cover the opening part when the device is not used. With this structure, a driver can perfectly grasp the condition in rear of the mirror in a normal driving posture without repeatedly looking at right and left for confirmation. Safety traveling is thereby secured, and generation of accident is previously prevented.
