PURPOSE: To prevent a digital signal obtained from the final output layer of a digital type neural network from being restricted only to pulse density expression and to improve the vensatility and processing capacity of the neural network by storing the output state of new different information in a storing circuit for a fixed time by means of a continuing circuit.
CONSTITUTION: This signal processing circuit network is provided with a counting/comparing circuit 39 for counting outputs 26E obtained from an output circuit in a circuit unit located on the final output terminal with a hierarchical net-like digital neuron model as a base by a counter 37 and then comparing the count value with a previously set prescribed value by a comparator 38, a selective output circuit 42 for outputting different information in accordance with the comapred result, and the continuing circuit 52 for continuing the output state of the different information for a previously set fixed time. Since all processing is digitally executed, operation can be stabilized without generating troubles such as temp. characteristics and drifting, stable outputs can be obtained by the action of the continuing circuit 52 and the outputs are not restricted only to pulse density expression.
