PURPOSE: To obtain a high shielding effect even a shielding structure having an opening part by providing a U-shaped cover made of metal for shielding antennas and housing the antennas installed in a tower and car in a recessed part inside the U-shaped cover.
CONSTITUTION: In a inclined elevator formed so that a car 8 travels on main rails 10 and 10a through roller guides 11 and 11a, a coupler 3 is installed on the car 8 through a mounting bracket 3a, and a U-shaped cover 1 formed so that it covers the coupler 3 is fixed to a in-tower floor surface 5 through a bracket 4. Also a cable antenna 2 is arranged in the cover 1 so that it is opposed to the coupler 3, and radio signals for digital data, sound and video, etc., are transmitted ad received from and onto one surface of the opposed antenna. By arranging the cable antenna 2 and coupler 3 this in the U-shaped cover, noise can be shielded effectively.
