Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily obtain a silicone polymer containing fluoroalkyl group, having a specific structural formula and suitable for water and oil repellent, lubricant, etc., in a short time by reacting a specific di(haloacyl) peroxide with a specific silicone polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective silicone polymer containing fluoroalkyl group, having a polymerization degree of 2-2,000 and a fluoroalkylation ratio of the benzene ring of 1-100% and expressed by the structural formula III (R1, R2, R3 and R4 are H, phenyl, 1-4C alkyl or group of formula IV) can be produced by reacting a di(haloacyl) peroxide of formula I (X is H, F or Cl: n3 is 1-10) with a silicone polymer of formula II (R5, R6, R7 and R8 are H, phenyl or 1-4C alkyl; n1 is 2-1,000; n2 is 0-1,000) preferably in a solvent (e.g. 1,1,2- trichlorotrifluoroethane) under normal pressure at 0-100 deg.C for 3-10hr.
