Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silodosin-containing pharmaceutical composition for oral administration having higher storage stability under the action of light and temperature and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a pharmaceutical composition comprising silodosin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a low-molecular-weight basic additive. There is provided a method for producing a pharmaceutical composition, the method preferably comprises: 1a) a step of mixing silodosin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and an excipient in a fluidized bed granulating dryer; 2a) a step of dissolving a binder and a low-molecular-weight basic additive in water to prepare an aqueous solution; 3a) a step of spraying the aqueous solution obtained in the step 2a) to a mixture obtained in the step 1a) followed by granulation of the mixture, or the method preferably comprises: 1b) a step of mixing silodosin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, an excipient and a low-molecular-weight basic additive in a fluidized bed granulating dryer; 2b) a step of dissolving a binder in water to prepare an aqueous solution; and 3b) a step of spraying the aqueous solution obtained in the step 2b) to a mixture obtained in the step 1b) followed by granulation of the mixture.SELECTED DRAWING: None
