Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC EMULSION, SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL CONTAINING SAME AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3812583
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color printing material which ensures always sufficient maximum density and proper gradation in such a wide exposure range as an exposure time of about 10-6 to 100 seconds and does not degrade quality even when stored at room temperature over a prolonged period of time.
SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic emulsion is a high silver chloride emulsion having an average silver chloride content of ≥95 mol%, contains an iridium compound in an amount of 10-9-10-7 mol per mol of silver halide in each grain interior from the center to 50% in terms of emulsion grain volume, and contains the iridium compound in such an amount as to make the amount of iridium 10-1,000 times the amount of iridium in the grain interior in a grain surface part corresponding to 90-100% from the center in terms of grain volume.
