Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple western toilet for enabling a bedridden invalid to use a Japanese-style port as a western-style toilet by a simple operation when the person has no choice but to use the Japanese-style toilet.
SOLUTION: A toilet seat mounting member (4) shaped like a bellows-type magic hand is arranged between a pair of front column (2) mounted on the front wall of a Japanese-style toilet bowl (20) and rear column (3) erected in the neighborhood of a tail edge part (22) on the Japanese-style toilet bowl (20), and a foldable toilet seat (13) is mounted on the toilet seat mounting member so that a simple western-style toilet (1) can be constituted.
