Title:
SINTERED ALLOY AND HARDENING TREATING METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3835103
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintered alloy in which only the sliding part can be hardened without changing the dimensional precision of the product and to provide a hardening treating method therefor.
SOLUTION: This hardening treating method for a sintered alloy includes a step in which ferrous sintering powder is compressed to obtain a molding 2, a stage in which a small-piece member 1 containing aluminum or an aluminum alloy melted at the sintering temperature of the molding 2 or less is placed on the surface of the molding 2 and a step in which the molding 2 is sintered to form an intermetallic compound 20 between iron and aluminum on the surface layer part 7 of the molding 2, and the sintered alloy is the one treated by the same method.
