In this way, a green compact 11' in which the compression ratio in the lower layer part of the film is made lower than the compression ratio in the internal region can be obtained. Further, by sintering the green compact 11', the base member of the sliding member in which the porosity in the lower layer part of the film is made higher than the porosity in the internal region can be formed.
