PURPOSE: To provide a sling bag calling device which can be employed as an equipment with a small number of lanes or with small-lot multi-sort production and to reduce equipment cost remarkably.

CONSTITUTION: A laundry storage apparatus is provided with an overhead monorail and a control display monitor which provide data by means of a data input operation device provided, in the vicinity, with bags 31 in which sorted laundry of fixed quantities are stored respectively, send out those bags successively in their hung condition, transfer, distribute and store those bags 31 in a plurality of storage lanes 21-1 to 21-6, and successively supply laundry stored inside the bags 31 from the storage lanes to a plurality of continuous washing machines having mutually different washing methods respectively. The same apparatus is also provided with a control and display unit which can input washable laundry sort signs and a controller 601 which is programmed together with displays so as to select such laundry whose sort sign agrees with called rail number from the storage lanes.
