Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operating efficiency to a great extent through omission of the punch return process and provide possibility of making fine holes which have been impossible or difficult according to the conventional technique.
SOLUTION: A die hole 11 penetrating a die 10 and a guide hole 16 penetrating a guide holding member 15 have the same section shape, and therewith a workpiece W is pinched or approached from two sides. A punch piece 30 consisting of a short rod having a section shape to fit in the holes 11 and 16 is supplied from the side with the guide holding member 15 and is left in high speed collision with a pressed into the workpiece W, and the workpiece W is punched off. The produced chip and punch piece 30 are passed in one direction through the die hole 11 in the die 10. Then the workpiece W is sent out from the die 10 and guide holding member 15.
