Abstract:

To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell with low membrane resistance of an electrolyte layer, wide electrode reaction interface, and capable of sufficiently supplying reaction gas.

This solid electrolyte fuel cell has stacked structure interposing a solid electrolyte layer 3 between an upper electrode layer 4 and a lower electrode layer 5. A process for forming the lower electrode layer 5, a process for forming the solid electrolyte membrane 3, and a process for forming the upper electrode layer 4 are arranged, and when at least one of the lower and upper electrode layers 5, 4 is formed, a material removable in a tail-end process is contained, and after the layer is formed, the contained material is removed in the tail-end process to make the electrode layers 4, 5 porous.
