PURPOSE: To operate a motor stably for a long period by forming a solid lubricating film on balls and on the surface of a raceway groove between rotor and stator and by arranging via a spring a bearing using a solid lubricating retainer.
CONSTITUTION: A rotor 2 is rotatably supported by a cross roller bearing 3. Also, a thrust bearing 6 is arranged in the gap part 5 between a rotor 2 and a stator 10, and is biased to said stator 10 by a bolt 9 via a bearing holder 7 and a spring 8a and spring seat 8b. In this case, MsS2 film is formed on the balls 11 and the surface of the raceway groove of races 12a, 12b of said thrust bearing 6. Further, a retainer 13 is made out of a solid lubricant such as Cu.Sn sintered alloy containing MoS2 and SW2. Thus, the magnetic attraction force of a permanent magnet and an electromagnet is received not only by the cross roller bearing but also by the thrust bearing so that the burden of said cross roller bearing is lightened. Accordingly, a stable operation of motor for a long period is made possible.
