To provide a substrate bias circuit for enhancing the spectral characteristic of a photodiode while suppressing increase in the power consumption and heat generation and to provide a solid-state imaging apparatus, and a camera.
The substrate bias circuit is provided with a voltage follower transistor for applying a substrate bias voltage to a semiconductor substrate and a ground resistor with a variable resistance connected to an output terminal of the voltage follower transistor via a diode. The ground resistor includes a first ground resistor R1 and a resistance circuit connected in parallel with the first ground resistor R1, and the resistance circuit includes a second resistor whose resistance is smaller than that of the first ground resistor R1 and a switch SW connected in series with the second resistor.
