To analyze biological substances such as gene, protein, and peptide quickly with high accuracy using a biosensor by forming a surface treated layer made of carbon compounds on a surface of a quartz resonator and then letting a chemically modified layer formed by chemically modifying the surface treated layer carry oligonucleotide or physiological active substance with excellent adhesion strength and high adhesion density to constitute the biosensor.
Oligonucleotide is fixed to a substrate formed by chemically modifying the surface treated layer of a solid support body constituted by forming the surface treated layer made of carbon compounds such as DLC on the surface of the quartz resonator with strong force and high density. Reaction of oligonucleotide which is hybridized and oligonucleotide which is not hybridized is detected as changes of resonance frequency and is quantitatively determined. SNPs are analyzed from a difference in hybrid formation amount or the physiological active substances such as protein and peptide are fixed to the element so that reaction of the physiological active substances which are combined by mutual action and the physiological active substances which are not combined by mutual action is detected as changes of resonance frequency and is quantitatively determined to analyze the physiological active substances from a difference in mutual action amount.
