Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently concentrate a solution by efficiently recovering mist while efficiently generating the mist and reducing the energy consumption of cooling or the like. SOLUTION: A solution concentration method comprises an atomization process of atomizing the solution containing a target substance into the mist with an atomizer 1 and turning it to the fluid mixture of the mist and air, and a recovery process of recovering the mist from the fluid mixture obtained in the atomization process. In the concentration method, in the recovery process, an air permeating membrane 51 of a pore size for passing the air through though not passing through the target substance contained in the mist is used. In the concentration method, the fluid mixture is brought into contact with the primary side surface of the air permeating membrane 51, the pressure of the primary side surface is made higher than that of a secondary side surface on the opposite side, the air of the fluid mixture is permeated through the air permeating membrane 51, and a part or all of the air contained in the fluid mixture is separated.
