In this sound absorption structural body, a sound absorbing film 2 is laminated on one side or both sides of a metal plate (punching metal 1) having a large number of openings, and the sound absorbing film 2 is made to partially adhere to the metal plate 1 in a state of non-tensile force. The metal plate 1 sticking the sound absorbing film 2 thereon is combined with a frame structural body 4 such as channel steel, and sound absorbing frequency is controlled by providing a rear side air layer 5 between the metal plate 1 and frame structural body 4.
