Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the working environment of a filling room and take the protective counter measure for hard of hearing for a worker by allowing a sound insulating device installed on a can seamer in a canning line to exert continuously a sufficient sound insulating effect even under a highly humid environment and to attain the excellent washing property without problems on health.
CONSTITUTION: As for a sound insulating device for a can seamer 2 which is arranged on a way of a canning line and to seam together a can lid on can body after canned with its contents, tunnel like inlet and outlet openings 5, 6 of the can are installed on the sides respectively, and a cover member 1 in which an inlet 19 of the can lid is opened on its ceiling part and which is assembled in a box like is arranged so that the entire can seamer body 2 is enclosed from its circumference. Further, the cover member 1 is formed of a panel with a high sound insulation ability which covers a damping material and a sound absorbing thermal insulation material from both front and back sides with stainless steel plates.
