Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject polyester fiber having excellent properties containing a slight air bubble with making possible of direct spinning of reactor chip and prolonging pack life by extruding a thermotropic aromatic polyester at a specific pressure and spinning.
CONSTITUTION: In extruding a thermotropic aromatic polyester with a vent-type extruder 1, a vent part V is depressed to 100-760mmHg to adjust top end pressure of the extruder 1 to 5-30kg/cm2. Then, pressure of the melt is risen to 40-200kg/cm2 by a gear pump-type booster having 50-90% volumetric efficiency and passed through a filter 3, then spun to afford the aimed polyester fiber.
