Abstract:
To provide a spotted rice bug repellent by finding a safe, simple, and effective repellent or control material of the bug.
There is provided a bug repellent including a compound represented by formula (I), wherein R is H, C1-6 alkyl, COC1-6 alkyl, COOH, or aryl, and X, Y, and Z are independently hydrogen or C1-3 alkyl. There are also provided a method for repelling the bug using the compound, and several methods for producing the compound represented by formula (I).
