To prevent condensation near the door of a refrigerator by a method wherein an outlet temperature of a condenser is controlled by a condenser outlet temperature control means in such a way that a detected temperature of the condenser outlet temperature control means may become equal to a detected temperature of an indoor dew point sensing means.
A refrigeration cycle is operated, an inside region of a refrigerator is cooled with an evaporator 11 and then an operation of the refrigerator is continued at a predetermined set temperature. Under this state, a dew point sensor 13 detects a dew point of air near a condensation prohibiting section. Then, a control section controls a rotating frequency of a fan 4 by an inverter in such a way that an outlet temperature of a condenser 2 may become more than a dew point in reference to this detected dew point of air. At this time, since the control is performed in reference to a dew point, the dew point is detected by the temperature sensor 3 and further set in such a way that an outlet temperature of the condenser 2 may become equal to a dew point. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to prevent condensation near a door without decreasing an efficiency of a refrigeration cycle.
