Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain polyester spun yarn and woven and knit fabric having gloss, dry touch, stiffness and anti-drape stiffness of flax, having water absorption (sweat absorption) properties, and having flax/rayon-like feeling with refreshing touch.
CONSTITUTION: This first aimed spun yarn is principally composed of triangle cross section polyester staple having short fiber denier of ≤2 denier, triangular fiber cross section and radius of curvature at each corner in the triangle cross section of ≤3μm and round cross section polyester staple having short fiber denier is ≥2 times of the triangle cross section polyester staple and round-shape of fiber cross section. The spun yarn contains ≥30wt.% the triangle cross section polyester staple and ≥30wt.% the round cross section polyester staple. Said spun yarn is used ≥50wt.% of whole weight of woven and knit fabric to afford the second aimed woven and knit fabric.
