To provide a stability evaluation system which obtains a grounding point position of a traveling vehicle, and evaluates stability of the traveling vehicle by taking into consideration behavior of a steering entity of the vehicle.
A stability evaluation system includes: a centroid identification feature disposed so as to be able to specify a combined centroid position of a vehicle and a steering entity for steering the vehicle; a grounding point identification feature which can specify a grounding point being a point where a vehicle wheel comes in contact with a travel surface; at least two imaging devices; and a stability evaluation device which calculates the combined centroid position on the basis of the imaged images, and calculates the grounding point from positional information of the grounding point identification feature.
