PURPOSE: To obtain a zeolite suspension which is stable and can be transferred by means of a pump by compounding a succinoglycan into a suspension contg. zeolite.
CONSTITUTION: A zeolite suspension prepd. by incorporating a succinoglycan into a suspension contg. zeolite is provided. The zeolites to be used are natural or synthetic crystalline, amorphous or crystalline/amorphous aged zeolites. In general, a finely divided zeolite with a mean particle diameter of 0.1-10 μm and a theor. cation exchange capacity of CaCO3: 100 mg or more per 1 g anhydrous product is used. In the above described suspension, succinoglycan is used as a stabilizer and by using this stabilizer, no settling out occurs after storage for several days or there exists only a little settling which can be easily suspended again. Succinoglycan is a polysaccharide contg. succinic acid and galactose and glucose as sugars and in general, it is obtd. by fermentation of a mixture contg. at least one source of assimilable carbon by using such a strain as Pseudomonas or the recombinant of this strain or its mutant.
